Confidentiality without anonymity.
Your identity may remain unpublished, but it must be known and verified by Substrat. The seller appointing Substrat ordinarily pays the agreed private-mandate retainer and success fee under written terms.
Discretion with discipline
Private does not mean unverified.
We protect legitimate privacy while requiring a credible chain of identity, beneficial ownership, authority and provenance. This protects genuine owners, prospective buyers and the integrity of every transaction.
01
Private by default
Identity and sensitive asset information remain restricted to authorised Substrat staff and appropriate professional reviewers.
02
Authority first
Marketing begins only after ownership, beneficial ownership or written authority and available provenance evidence are reviewed.
03
Controlled introductions
Qualified opportunities are introduced only as appropriate to the mandate, transaction and diligence stage.
Confidential first step
Tell us enough to begin.
Your name and precise asset location do not need to appear publicly. They must, however, be disclosed privately to Substrat so identity, authority and asset checks can be completed.
Frequently asked questions
Before you begin.
Can my identity stay off the public listing?
Yes. A seller’s identity and sensitive asset information need not be published, but the principal, beneficial owners and authority must be disclosed privately to Substrat for review.
Can Substrat accept an anonymous private sale?
No. Legitimate confidentiality does not permit anonymous principals, undisclosed beneficial owners or uncertain authority.
Does a private mandate remove the need for buyer due diligence?
No. Legal, title, authenticity, condition, counterparty and payment checks remain necessary before a buyer pays or completes a transaction.
